Vehicle Description
Another showroom car of ours here at CRM Auto Sales is this '68
Chevy Camaro Z28. The Z/28 option code was introduced in December
1966 for the 1967 model year as the first generation of Camaro.
This option package was not mentioned in any sales literature, so
it was unknown to most buyers. The styling of the 1968 Camaro was
very similar to the 1967 design with the introduction of Astro
Ventilation, a fresh-air-inlet system. Due to this design the side
vent windows were deleted, it also had a more pointed front grille
and divided rear taillights to set it apart from '67 Camaros. This
Z28 is painted a beautiful Matador Red with the classic Z28 racing
stripes. It features the matching number 302 V8 paired to the
Muncie 4 speed transmission, an aluminum intake manifold, and a
4-barrel vacuum secondary Holley carburetor. The engine was
designed specifically to race in the Trans Am series. The factory
rating of 290 HP occurred at 5300 RPM, while actual peak for the
302 was closer to 360 HP with the single four barrel carb. Many
upgrades include Flowmaster dual exhaust, soft ray tinted glass,
front and rear spoilers and much more. This Z28 is calling your
name and being 1 of only 7,200 produced, this one is an absolute
need. Come check it out or give us a call today and make this
beautiful classic yours!
