1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 Coupe
This incredible 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle is a beast of a muscle car. The car has been beautifully restored and modified for extreme performance. The body is straight and solid with great lines and gaps. The paint is Shadow Silver (its original color) with Black stripes. The paint shines beautifully and looks great on this car. The underside is painted beautifully and completely rust free. Originally built at the Van Nuys, California plant to the Malibu 2 door Sport Coupe trim level, it was rebadged and trimmed as a Chevelle SS 396 during its restoration approximately 10 years ago. The mechanical build on this car is exceptional. It is powered by a Big Block Merlin V8 engine with Dart aluminum heads, Dart Aluminum intake manifold, Roller rockers, Holley Dominator 1150 cfm carburetor, Ceramic coated headers, Automatic Transmission with full manual reverse valve body, B&M Shifter, Electric line lock, B Cool Aluminum Radiator with dual electric fans, 12 Bolt positraction rear end, Front and Rear Sway bars.
It also features Power Brakes (front discs), Power Steering and Panasonic Stereo/CD. The interior is in excellent condition with very minor signs of use. The car has 4 matching BF Goodrich T/A radial tires mounted to stock Rally wheels, plus 2 additional street slicks also mounted on extra wide Rally wheels. An additional T/A radial is mounted to a Rally wheel as the spare in the trunk along with the jack and trunk mat.
This is an iconic muscle car that has been restored and build to a very high level of quality. It has been recently serviced and is ready to enjoy on the street or strip.
