Redesigned for 1972, the all new Torino brought all new styling
features that emphasises the new coke bottle styling theme. There
were three major trim levels, all of which sported a distinctive
egg crate grill. A full range of engines and bodys styles were
offered from tame 6 cylinders to a 429cid V8. Four different body
styles were offered. The cars were very popular and they were well
regarded by press and customers alike.

level Gran Torino features a very solid body and the car originally
came out of California. The owner claims that the 351cid V8 and
automatic transmission are all original and numbers matching. It is
equipped with a 2bbl carburetor, the formal Brougham roofline, and
a posi trac rear end. The car is finished in dark blue metallic and
is very solid over all. All trim and body panels are original and
intact and the car sits on American Racing alloy wheels with newer
Michelin tires. The interior features blue cloth that is in average
shape. There are a fair amount of interior upholstery that needs
attention.
This Gran Torino is in very solid shape and is an excellent driving
car. It has been well loved and is the perfect candidate for a full
