Great power from a 4-cylinder engine, retractable hard top, killer
good looks and a long list of options are what make this MB
special.
Mechanical
A 2.3 liter 4-cylinder engine is backed by a smooth shifting
automatic transmission. The engine puts out 192 horsepower and 200
lb. ft. of torque to get this sports car up to speed quickly. The
power is sent to the rear wheels and put to the pavement with the
assistance of traction control. This Mercedes is a ton of fun and
really hugs the curves.
Interior
Everything you would expect from Mercedes has been squeezed into
this little drop top SLK230. Power everything, cold blowing A/C,
retractable hardtop and more. Nice aluminum features on the door
sills, door panels and center console give the interior a very
sporty feel. The sills are badged "SLK" and the Mercedes emblem
adorns the steering wheel so anyone who enters the car knows
exactly what you drive. The bucket seats wrap around you and hold
you tight around sharp corners and are very comfortable, even on
long drives.
Exterior
Mercedes has outdone themselves with the SLK230. The long front
end, bulges on the hood, retractable hardtop and stance make this
car look like a pure performance ride. Nothing looks better than a
clean Black paint job on a Mercedes, and this car has that. Gloss
and depth that shine like a mirror out in the sun. Aluminum alloy
wheels and an oval exhaust tip go great with the MB and Kompressor
badging. The trim and badging add subtle sophistication to the
exterior of this 230.
Conclusion
A Mercedes Benz with a retractable hardtop, for well under $10,000?
