Vehicle Description
1930 Ford Model A Blindback. Very rare body style. Ever read those
stories of people driving their Model A's cross country and having
the time of their lives without a care in the world and making
memories to last a lifetime? This Model A is ready to do that! Road
ready for touring anywhere, anytime. Drives smooth and quiet (for a
Model A). Runs like a swiss watch with recently rebuild motor.
Recently rebuilt carburetor, distributor with modern points,
radiator, etc. Motor has insert bearings, .100 overbore, new
pistons, timing gear, valves, the works. Has a Mitchell overdrive
and easily keeps up with modern traffic. Stops on a dime with all
new cast iron drums, bonded brake pads, etc. Has F100 steering
(almost feels like power steering) and a new clutch. Has a Model B
high compression head (stamped 'C' and sometimes called a 'C head')
with the 3-bolt water pump. Although restored to blue ribbon
judging standards (includes binder full of pictures taken during
frame-off restoration), this Model A is no trailer queen, this car
wants you to get off your butt and go touring! C'mon, lazy bones,
drive me!! Has a 6V positive ground alternator in place of an
unreliable generator so you have bright lights for night driving.
Includes fender mount spare, period correct vintage folding trunk
rack accessory, 'Flying Quail' hood ornament with thermometer for
monitoring coolant temperature. LeBaron Bonney upholstery.
Firestone tires with only 2,700 miles. Always gets lots of waves
and smiles from everyone who sees you driving it. The Ahooga horn
gets a smile every time, even from cops. This car just makes you
stand out from any crowd, and the motor sound is so cool, you won't
miss not having a radio. Please Note The Following **Vehicle
