Power, poise, and plenty of attitude - this 1974 Ford F-100 Range
XLT 4x4 has it all. Check out the shining metallic paint, a
terrific V8 growl, and absolute freshness that comes from a major
restoration that was completed less than 5 miles ago!
A truck like this deserves a bold application like the freshly
applied bright dark blue metallic. It's an $8,000 investment all on
its own, and the color adds plenty of bright personality to
counterbalance the all-out tough 4x4 stance. Plus, the shine it
radiates nicely complements the upper-echelon trims like this
Ranger XLT. They had a ton of bright work, including a style line
built right into the sheet metal. Plus, the ribbed rockers, flared
wheel arches, and mirror-like sport bumpers are all part of what
makes this a premium pickup. That's why they invested so heavily
into all these pieces - spending $5,000 just in these details!
There's even a brand new set of racing-style American Racing alloys
to add to the overall flair. It creates a total package that you'll
love showing off. But you don't own a 4x4 just for pleasing others.
The bed has protective liner paint and you have wide tow mirror
just to remind you that the right truck can still work as hard as
you do.
The interior feels just as fresh as the exterior. Remember, with
only five miles on this since restoration, there hasn't been any
time to put any wear and tear on the interior. The carpeting, door
panels, and leather Lariat headliner coordinate with this to give
you a very uniform presentation. There was a special eye to keeping
this feeling period-correct, so even the seat belts were restored.
Plus, upgrades are subtle, like the AM/FM stereo w/digital tuner
that's a Retrosound unit to blend in nicely. You have the classic
Ford dual-spoke steering wheel that gives an excellent view of the
factory gauges. And your favorite factory piece will likely be the
sliding glass rear window. After all, when combined with the side
vent glass, they provide the best old-school truck breezes.
Under the hood is a very cool motor. Just like the rest of the
truck, they invested nicely in making this looks correct but fresh.
So the bold big blue block, valve covers, and air topper all
radiate from within the tidy black engine bay. This is a big truck,
so fortunately, there's a big motor to move it around. The 360
cubic-inch V8 is a powerful Ford legend. It's been enhanced with an
Edelbrock 600 CFM four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and
headers that feed the growling side-exit dual exhaust. And when
you're spending thousands $$$$, the engine bay details are on the
list, too. That means changing all the fluids (engine oil,
front/rear diff, transmission, transfer case, etc.,) new rear axle
seals, and a new radiator to keep it all running cool. This is a
tough 4x4 with a lifted stance and new Falken Wild Peak A/T tires.
But no matter if you're on the street or trail, you'll appreciate
the power steering and all new power brakes. Plus, the four-speed
manual transmission means you have complete control over this
rumbling V8 wherever you go.
There's about $25k spent just for the recent work alone. So we
don't have all the room to go over it all. But give us a call, and
we're happy to go through the full details. Of course, you already
can see how much value this powerful classic 4x4 now has. Don't
miss you chance, call today!
