Such a unique vehicle with so many uses. Think about going to a show with some type of special car on the back sounds pretty cool! It may not drive like a Cadillac, but it has power steering, power brakes, V8 power, and updated automatic transmission, modern tune box, and is a lot of fun to drive and for people to see! I think they are kind of rare, a car hauler with this body. Owner bought truck in 2000, and he was a Ford dealer, and so It was taken care of.

Mechanical-
*Emergency brake does work and holds the vehicle
*The vacuum operated windshield wipers move(windshield dry)
*Manual choke operates
*Both side air vents open and close
*Door latches, and rolling windows work on both sides
*Both low and high beams work
* Dash lights work
* No knowledge if C.B radio works
*Clearance lights on cab work
* Air horn works
*Electric horn works
*Right and left side illuminated marker lights work
*Lenses that are just forward of the rear axle are reflectors only
*Taillights work
*Four way flashers work in the rear as well as the front (Flashing lights are both below the head lamps, and on top of headlamps)
*Right side blinker works in the front, but not in the rear
*Left side blinker works in the front and rear
*The remote control for the winch and operation does goes with the vehicle, however the personal tie downs do not. (Owner indicated winch was operating well)
*The oil pressure gauge is working, and when the engine is fully warmed it runs around 25 lbs on idle and registers at about 50 lbs when running about 1500 rpm’s
*The temperature gauge after driving on the expressway on idle is about mid point between cold and hot, but actually a little bit on the cold side.
*The volt meter seems to be right around 13 or 14
*Gas gauge is registering and we think is working
*Radio works on A.M. and F.M.
*Cassette player does operate
*The speakers(which you will see in the pictures) are located between the seats and behind the shift
*No Heat or air, but it would typically be driven in nice weather with the windows/vents open, it’s the greatest type of ventilation you’ll have in a ride!
Test Drive-
* On driving we will note that the truck accelerates, and the engine seems to run properly upon acceleration, and upon idle. The transmission seems to up shift, and down shift properly as needed. The linkage for the transmission seems to operate correct. The steering is very easy, reacts well, and seems to have good road manners. Chad drove the truck a few miles around town and down the express way up to 60 mph, the truck drove smooth without vibrating or shaking. It tracks straight down the road, and does not pull to left or the right, and upon applying brakes it seemed to stop easily without pulsation or pulling. The gas pedal is a little sensitive, and takes a little getting use to. Again you have the option depending on how you like to drive, you can use the brake by the gas peddle or the left side of the steering column.
