Gateway Classic cars of Tampa is proud to list a piece of Ford
history with this 1931 Ford Model A Sedan. This Burgundy beauty
will turn heads as it cruises down the road. The current owner has
owned this car for a few years and has replaced many parts to keep
this Model A in tip top shape. A new head gasket, temp gauge,
strap, water pump, fan belt, water hoses, and a new battery. This
Model A has a clean curb appeal with its Sharp two tone Burgundy
and black paint with yellow wire wheels. The interior matches with
a light tan cloth. The paint and interior are overall in great
shape. The Model A paved the way for mass produced vehicles. By the
end of the run, Ford had produced almost 5 million Model A's. These
vehicles could be purchased in a variety of body styles. From
sporty roadsters to industrial trucks, the platform was extremely
versatile. This particular example is the popular two door sedan.
There's seating for 4 and plenty of windows for airflow. Even the
front wind screen can be tilted open to let in fresh air. Under the
hood is a simple flat head 4-cylinder engine. It uses a 3-speed
manual transmission and transfers power to the rear axle. These
cars are not speed machines, but they are torquey and fun to drive
around town. The consignor has owned the car since 2015, and states
they have the receipts. This one fires up nicely and runs and
drives like it should. This Model A is road ready and has a lot of
life left. Take home a piece of history with this 1931 Ford Model A
