Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this gorgeous dark blue
1992 GMC 1500 for sale in Our Louisville Showroom. Early 90's
GMC/Chevy trucks are starting to come into their own niche as
people look to relive their glory days in a rear wheel drive
vehicle and customize them into something super cool. Typically, a
repaint, a set of lowering springs and cool set of wheels is the
usual extent of the customization. This GMC 1500 takes a slightly
different path and has more of the old school look Pro-Street look.
Skinny tires on the front and steam roller meats on the back give
it the correct look and stance. But what good is s look if you
can't back it up? A quick look under the hood and you will notice
that this truck can haul the mail! The heart of this beast is a 383
CID Stoker V8 engine. The 383 V8 is loaded with the good stuff such
as an Eagle Rotating Assembly, Probe pistons, a Comp Cams solid
roller cam and lifters. Insuring this 383 gets plenty of air is a
set of Profiler aluminum heads with 220 cc runners, large intake
(2.10) and exhaust (1.60) valve. An Edelbrock Victor Jr aluminum
intake with a Quick Fuel 750 cfm carburetor finishes off this
combo. This healthy 383 CID V8 has been mated to Turbo Hydramatic
3-speed transmission. The transmission has been rebuilt with a
hardened sprag, a shift kit and a TCI convertor. The rear end
consists of a spool with 4.56 gears. This 1500 can haul the
groceries, the tools, lumber or anything else that will fit in the
bed and get it there in a hurry. Options for this 1992 GMC 1500
Convertible; AM/FM Radio with CD player, Power Steering, Power
Brakes, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, and Polished aluminum wheels .
