Vehicle Description
Up for sale in our Atlanta showroom is a one of a kind and unique
1967 Lotus Elan purpose-built race car. Purchased in 2000 by a
former competitive and very avid English racing enthusiast. This
beautiful Lotus Elan has undergone a seventeen-year restoration and
modification process and it shows. The power plant for this Elan is
a brand new, out of the box, blue-printed twin cam 1600 CC engine
producing 185 HP with a 12.5 to 1 compression ratio, burning 110
octane racing fuel. A tremendous amount of power for a 1600 CC
engine. The engine has only four hours of track time for tuning
purposes and is now ready for some prime-time vintage racing. A
full list of components is available supported by all receipts and
a detailed log of the build. Multiple high end and nationally
recognized race shops were involved in the construction of this
little green rocket. George Widich of the "The Matthews Collection"
performed the engine design and construction with most parts coming
from Tony Thompson Racing in England. The final phase of the build
was performed by Bob Wagner Motorsports right here in Atlanta. This
a complete and ready to roll race car. So, kiss the baby, call the
boys, grab a helmet and let's go racing. For additional information
