For Sale: 1976 MG Midget in Atlanta, Georgia

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1976 MG Midget. This Midget is an attractive roadster finished in desirable Damask Red over black interior; it is showing 55,000 miles. This example has had one repaint to a nice standard with good gaps and no evidence of corrosion or previous repairs. The interior is mostly original and remains in good condition throughout. The 1500cc 4 cylinder runs well and pulls strong, thanks in part to an upgraded Weber carburetor.

New Minator Minilite style alloy wheels and 13-inch tires were recently fitted. The owner invested over $2600 with a local English car specialist in 2017 for tuning and repairs consisting of a new starter, alternator, battery, carb rebuild, shifter bushings and some wiring clean up. Compression was noted at 140-150 psi on all cylinders at that time. The black vinyl convertible top is in serviceable condition and a top boot and full tonneau cover are included.
