Vehicle Description
A full nut-and-bolt restoration was done on this 1940 Ford custom
coupe in 2006, with 1,200 miles since its completion. It has an
all-steel body with louvered hood, Hagan flush taillights, shaved
door handles with door poppers, smoothed firewall and louvered
inner fenders. It is powered by a 350ci LT1 engine with a polished
TPI unit mated to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission with a stall
shift kit. This custom coupe is also equipped with a chrome
alternator, billet pulleys, Vintage Air, 10-bolt rear end with
posi-traction, Mustang II suspension with rack & pinion steering
and 4-wheel disc brakes. The car is sitting on Billet Specialties
wheels. Interior has Glide Engineering split bench seat, full
leather door and trunk panels, 6-disc CD player, and full power
windows, door poppers, trunk and cowl vent, all controlled by a
remote hidden in the glove box.
