Vehicle Description
Very meticulous, nut and bolt restoration. This one is off the
charts nice. Has a binder of documentation including pictures of
the restoration, receipts going back decades, manuals etc. This car
previously sold at Barrett-Jackson for more than we are asking.
EXTERIOR: Wow, it's as slick as Teflon. Really this paint is so
smooth and slick, even to the touch. The stripe is typically a
decal, this one is painted. Jambs are painted slick. It has a
pristine body- laser straight, all the gaps are square and flush.
The doors open and close like new. All of the chrome and trim is
replaced. New window seals and weatherstrips. Has Sprint package
which includes the louvered hood with turn signals. Has Coker
radial redline tires on chrome Magnum wheels. The black convertible
top was replaced, the framework was cleaned and painted,
weatherstrips were replaced.
INTERIOR: Completely restored inside. New cushions in the seats so
they feel firm and the upholstery fits tight as a drum. The door
panels, handles, window cranks, armrests, carpet, visors, mirror
are all replaced. Deluxe center console is mint, light comes on
when you open the "garage door". Upgraded retro stereo with an
auxiliary plug. New deluxe steering wheel. Entire dash area has
been restored- the bezels, lenses, chrome trim, dash pad are mint.
Has a nice set of embroidered carpeted Mustang floor mats. The seat
belts are new, has a nice padded convertible top boot.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It's really pristine under the hood. It doesn't
look like it has been run yet it's so clean. Has all the factory
components right down to the original pollution equipment. Has
correct hoses, clamps, plug wires. Everything is painted smooth and
glossy. The motor has the right Ford blue from pan to air cleaner.
Bottom side of the hood is painted red just as smooth as the rest
of the car. The engine bay is all perfectly clean metal painted
semi gloss black. Even the nuts and bolts look new.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is detailed too. All clean metal painted a
glossy red finish like the exterior. Has a plaid mat. They even
soent the money to buy a new matching redline tire and Magnum wheel
for a spare. There really was no expense spared, no pun
intended.
UNDERSIDE: One of the best I've seen. There is zero rust. The
seams, spotwelds are clean. There is not even any pitting. The
floors and chassis are painted a semi-gloss black. Upfront the
steering and suspension was completely restored. Upgraded to
polyurethane bushings. Has sway bar. The bottom of the motor and
the trans are spotless. Has stainless Magnaflow dual exhaust. In
back it has new shocks and gas tank.
This car isn't like all the other nice cars, this one is
outstanding with nothing to apologize for. It functions and looks
like new or better!
