Rare Super Duty! Buccaneer red exterior with burgundy morokide
interior. Excellent 3 owner car that retains all original body
panels, interior, engine and rear end. Transmission was replaced
years ago and is not original to the car. Super Duty engine has
never been removed from the car and runs excellent. Carburetor,
distributor, alternator, brake booster, master cyl, heads, etc. are
believed to be correct. Very strong runner as it should be.
Transmission shifts great. Beautiful original red oxide primer
underneath.
Interior is mostly original (shifter plate and knob were replaced
with NOS. Originals included) and in incredible shape from top to
bottom. Seat foam even feels like new. Originally came with an AM/8
track radio and now has an AM/FM/8 Track (works great) but the
original is included. Obligatory 1970's cigarette burn on the
console. Power windows work great. All gauges work.
2nd owner had some of the body panels touched up and had the car
cleared for preservation. Honeycomb wheels are original to the car.
Original full size honeycomb spare tire is included and is not the
space saver in the trunk photos. Entire trunk is original including
the spatter paint and trunk mat.
Only 252 Super Duty Trans Ams were made in 1973 of which only 180
were automatics. Original owner of this car is still alive and well
at 78 years young. 59k original miles. Current owner will consider
all serious offers.
