1971 Chevrolet Cheyenne C10 super. Decked out, laid out, dressed up
and ready to rumble this is one stunning Cheyenne Super. Purchased
recently from one of our best long-term customers this truck is so
nice we have it displayed on our new car Chevrolet Showroom floor.
It sparkles just like the new cars it sits next to. It s that nice.
Having come out of Texas we see no areas that give us pause or
concern we would normally have on a northern truck- we simply don t
believe this beauty has ever been rusty. The paint (PPG Colorado
Red and white), interior, engine compartment, chrome, and underside
are all show quality. Motivation comes from a 383 that s stroked
with AFR aluminum heads. Eagle rods and crank, an MSD ignition,
Holly Terminator EFI and a Dominator ECU make this a very strong
performer. Hedman ceramic headers makes sure she car breath
properly and give it that wonderful throaty rumble. The engine is
backed with a 4L60 trans and runs through a 12 bolt 373 True Trac
Posi unit. The truck goes down the road beautifully. Vintage heat
and air will keep you quite comfortable in the wonderfully
appointed cab and if you are not a purist who lives on the sound of
the exhaust note you can crank your tunes through your Kenwood
stereo. The outstanding looking 20 Chevy Rally wheels are shod in
Pirelli tires that look to be next to new. In the interest of
everyone being on the same page we will say that this truck came to
us on a Texas reconstructed title and will be sold as such. Seeing
this truck will certainly illustrate the quality of the build.
