Sensational, Show-Stopping 1941 Willys Coupe
New to our Benicia showroom is this beautiful 1941 Willys 2 Door
Coupe with incredible Lemon Ice Yellow paint, hand painted
red/orange flames and a Caramel leather interior. You'll find an
awesome 1957 Chrysler 392 cid Hemi V-8 engine under the hood bored
.30 over with Ross 8.1 pistons, aluminum heads, an Engle cam, a GMC
671 blower, an Accel 7th generation EFI system, a MSD Electronic
Ignition and a Turbo 400 automatic transmission with a B&M
shifter, plus far too many other premium accessories to list. This
incredible, one of a kind Willys produces over 700 horsepower and
it is one of the most amazing classics you'll see this year.
Featured in Kit Car Builder Magazine in December 2004
The current owner of this 1941 Willys Coupe took possession in 2005
shortly after it underwent a complete frame-off restoration from
the ground up. He informs us that it's the original 1941 Willys
frame that's been boxed and cross framed, then built up with a
Mustang II front suspension with Coilovers and a Ford 9" narrowed
rear end with 4.11 gears. No expense was spared anywhere in this
build and it received a brand new Antique & Collectible Autos body
with six coats of professional paint. You'll also find
customizations like shaved door handles with door poppers, Vintage
A/C, an awesome JVC stereo system with a Legacy amp and high-end
autometer gauges amongst the high end custom leather interior.
Additionally, this 1941 Willys Coupe is autographed by none other
than K. S. Pittman, the man himself who made racing Willy's cool
back in the day. This desirable classic gained so much publicity
back in 2004 it was featured in Kit Car Builder magazine, which
documents the entire build down to the high amp alternator and the
Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans.
Outstanding Build Quality w/ Over 700 Horsepower
In terms of its present condition, this 1941 Willys Coupe shows no
discernable signs of wear other than a few slight blemishes in the
exterior paint. The body lines are incredible with a mirrored
finish amongst the subtle chrome work, while the ultra-premium
leather interior could still pass for new condition. Everything
from the custom leather to the gauges to the carpeting and the
tilt-wheel steering column are flawless. The fully chromed engine
compartment is virtually flawless as well.
Out on the open road, this '41 Willys is a true terror with world
class acceleration and just as impressive handling. The quality of
this build cannot be overstated since every possible component is
top of the line. The motor sounds phenomenal and it shifts like a
modern sports car. You won't find a more impressive muscle car
anywhere outside the quarter mile drag strip.
Signed Trunk Lid by Willys Racing Legend K. S. Pittman
Overall, this 1941 Willys 2 Door Coupe is one of the most
incredible examples you'll find nationwide and its raw horsepower
will leave you breathless. This example is easily a Best in Show
candidate on virtually any stage and the asking price doesn't even
begin to cover the build costs. It's an absolute steal at the
current asking price and an outstanding investment for one lucky
collector. For more information about this vehicle, visit our
