For your consideration is a beautifully restored 1955 Chevrolet Belair that is on consignment at Fort Pitt Classic Cars. Restored only a few years ago, this car functions as good as it looks. A very nice restoration has earned this ’55 an important trophy at the oldest Chevrolet Dealership still in operation. The “Cleanest Car Award” was given to the owner for his beautiful Belair at a GM only car show.
This ’55 has an original 265 V8 and Automatic Powerglide Transmission. The 265 fires up, idles and runs great every time. The transmission goes into gear and shifts perfectly as it should. The only upgrade outside of factory spec is dual exhaust. The pipes sound great, fitting to the car, not overly loud. Ran correctly, through the frame, the exhaust is a tasteful upgrade.
Please look at the pictures and ask questions. The restoration that has been completed is top notch. Trim, bumpers, paint, interior, mechanical, etc is just through the roof nice.
