Cincy Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1979 Z28 which is in
stunning frame off restored condition and priced to sell.
This Z28 was treated to a full frame off restoration and has
only test miles since the restoration. The underside of this
Z28 shows the high level of restoration that went into this build.
This factory Z28 comes in a very rare factory Medium Green
exterior color over Green interior. Its a stunning unique
color combination that is not only attractive but classy.
This Z28 features a beautiful recent repaint in factory
Medium Green which shows very well, a restored Green vinyl
interior, and a great running 350, and fully restored under
carriage. This Z28 is extremely solid with great lines and
gaps and has no visible rust anywhere on body or frame. This
Z28 is finished in the beautiful and desirable color combinations
of Medium Green (code 44) over Green (code 44R) vinyl interior.
This is the factory color scheme as verified on the trim tag
pictured above.
Exterior
The Medium Green exterior is in fantastic restored condition.
This Z28 was treated to a recent professional repaint in
factory Medium Green and shows very well. The paint is in
great overall condition with a great shine and gloss and is smooth
to the touch. The decals are new and were recently installed.
There are no signs of visible rust anywhere on this car and
no bubbling paint anywhere on the body. The underside of this
Z28 is exceptionally solid and fully detailed as the frame was
removed from the body and fully restored. New fuel lines, new
brake lines, and all new hoses were installed. The frame was
powder coated and all suspension parts were replaced with new
parts. New springs, new shocks, new ball joints, new end
links, new body mounts, new bushings, and much more were recently
installed. Both bumpers are in great shape shape with no
flaking or faded paint. There may be some minor imperfections
that are not noticeable in the photos, but noting was intentionally
excluded from the photos. The BF Goodrich tires are brand new
with full tread left and are sized 235/60/15 and the Factory wheels
are OEM originals and are in excellent shape with no curb rash and
have been repainted in body color. Trunk is very solid and
clean with the original space saver spare tire, jack, and original
style trunk mat. T Top seals, door seals, window sweeps,
trunk seal, and hood insulation have all been replaced. All
the glass is new and was recently replaced.
Interior
The Green interior of this Z28 is in splendid restored condition.
The new seat covers are in perfect condition with no
noticeable wear anywhere. The seat foams were replaced as
well. The carpet was replaced and is in excellent condition
with no major stains, rips, or holes. The original dash is in
terrific condition with no fading and the dash bezel is in good
condition as well. The stereo has been upgraded to a modern
Pioneer CD player with new 6x9 speakers. The door panels have
been replaced and are in great condition and both door pulls are
solid and in tact. The package tray has been replaced and is
like new condition and the headliner has been replaced as well.
All interior lights and gauges work as they should outside of
the clock. The horn, stereo, blower motor, and wipers, all
work. This car has not been smoked in; there is no aroma what
so ever.
Mechanical
This Z28 is in great mechanical condition and runs and drives very
well. The 350 engine is fully detailed and runs strong.
In the video one can observe this car running and driving
with no excessive rattles or noises, and the car handles and
performs well. This Z28 is an exceptional driver that feels
great on the road and at highway speeds. There is no smoke
when starting or driving the car. It starts right away every
time, idles well, and runs great. The brakes were completely
replaced with a new master cylinder, new brake booster, new lines
and hoses. The brakes do not pull and stop as they should.
New Flowmaster style dual exhaust was recently added and has
an excellent exhaust note at idle and cruising speeds. This
car is a blast to drive and gets tons of looks with its unique
attractive color scheme. Also, the engine bay is very clean
and highly detailed as one can see from the photos. This is a
factory NON AC car which has that old school muscle car look and
the engine bay has been fully restored. The tach works but is
intermittent from time to time and does not read correctly
sometimes.
