Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this super clean 1978 Ford
Bronco Ranger XLT. For a little history on this generation of
Broncos - the 1978-1979 Bronco is based on the Ford F-100 pickup
truck (1973-1979 sixth generation). Alongside the shortened
wheelbase of 104 inches, the major difference between the Bronco
and F-100 is the Bronco's standard four-wheel-drive powertrain.
This generation of the Bronco is fitted with part-time four-wheel
drive and a New Process 205 gear-driven transfer case with the
option of permanent four-wheel drive and a New Process 203
chain-driven transfer case. The 1978-1979 Bronco is fitted with a
coil-sprung Dana 44 front axle and has a leaf-sprung Ford 9-inch
axle in the rear. The 1978-1979 Bronco was available with two
different V8 engines: the 5.8L 351M and the 6.6L 400. This Bronco
comes with a freshened exterior, done in white with a very
sharp-looking metallic cinnamon accent, that looks like a shiny
metallic penny. It's equipped with the 400 CID V8, automatic
transmission, and manually-actuated transfer case. Inside, the
white and metallic cinnamon paint scheme continues. Since it's a
Ranger XLT, you get the woodgrain dash, door appliques, and
steering wheel accents. The seats and carpet are practically new,
with the seats having been done in a nice brown synthetic leather
and multi-color cloth insert pattern. While you're out tooling
around town (or 4X4-ing in the backwoods), the Bluetooth-equipped
AM/FM/CD radio allows you to take calls handsfree, or stream your
MP3s through the head unit. The "off-roadability" is enhanced by
the 31x10.5R15LT Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires that are wrapped
around its American Racing aluminum wheels, and they have plenty of
life in them, too! Additional options on this 1978 Ford Bronco
Ranger XLT for sale include cold Air Conditioning, Anti-theft
System, AM/FM/CD radio with Bluetooth, Cruise Control, Cloth and
Synthetic Leather seating, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Rear
Window, and Seat Belts. The cost of parts and restoration of these
vehicles are increasing daily. They are not making any more and,
therefore, they are becoming rarer by the day. Buy one complete and
ensure your investment for the future. An excellent investment and
something you can enjoy daily. Collectible vintage vehicles have
historically appreciated at a rate greater than that stock market,
gold and other arts and collectibles as documented by many articles
and auction result tracking. For more information on this 1978 Ford
