THE STORY BEHIND THIS 1932 FORD HIGHBOY CONVERTIBLE
A few weeks ago I sold the nicest Custom '32 Ford 2-Door Coupe I had ever seen ... or ever owned ... to a wonderful gentleman from Ohio. It had extensive Pin striping with very rare, intricate, hand applied Gold Leaf Appliqués on the hood, dash and rear of the car. Well ... my new friend in Ohio related to me that his father (who had recently passed away) was a reasonably famous Dirt Track Race Car driver (back in the day) and that the gentleman who had lettered his Race Cars was a master of the rare Gold Leaf Appliqués process ... and ... had often used it on his father's cars. It was a wonderful story and I was thrilled that we could provide him a '32 Ford customized a lot like his father's Race Cars.
As part of the deal, we took his "Pride-And-Joy", '32 Ford Highboy Convertible in trade.
