1974 MG MGB convertible, excellent condition. The car is unique because it has very low, original mileage of 15,677 miles. This English roadster has the original engine and is zippy, fast, and smooth running. The color is the classic Navy Blue.
Over the last three years the MGB received a new alternator, new ignition switch, new brakes, new front tires. This year the battery was replaced, and the fuel tank was cleaned and sealed.
The car has a chrome bumper, car cover, spare tire, Sony radio and Kenwood amplifier. The car had been re-upholstered before we bought it and looks brand new.
California registration paid until Sept. 2022. We purchased the car in 2017 from an owner (who I had known for 50+ years) who purchased the car in 1970 and stored it as a collector’s item; he did not use it for transportation. The car is fun, but my knees can’t drive a stick-shift anymore, so its better to let someone else enjoy the car. The car has been off the market, and we just relisted it after several years on Nov 16, 2021.
The convertible top recently developed a cut on the side about 3 inches long, which probably could be repaired, but we are lowering the price by $500 to pay for a new top.
