Vehicle Description
This frame-off customized 1972 Camaro was built to resemble the
1970 Z/28 exterior. It was painted by Visual Imagination with
stunning airbrushed carbon-fiber stripes on the fiberglass hood and
rear decklid. It's powered by a Wegner Motorsports built 416ci LS3
V8 engine with a Whipple 2.9-liter supercharger backed by a Pro
Comp Powerglide automatic transmission with Gear Vendors overdrive
unit, trans brake and line lock. This custom Camaro is equipped
with Heidts coilover rear suspension with a Ford 9" rear end and
4:10 gear. It rides on Coys magnesium wheels with Nitto drag radial
tires. The interior has a carbon-fiber dash insert with Racepak
gauges, and a custom stereo in the glove box with an amp in the
trunk. The seats are Tillett Racing carbon-fiber race seats in the
front, with an additional set of matching recovered stock �72
Camaro seats to match the rear ones, and a padded certified roll
cage with removable door braces that is well hidden inside the
interior. This custom Camaro has been transformed to a modern
street car.
