For Sale at Auction: 1973 Datsun 240Z in Las Vegas, Nevada

Vehicle Description

Magnificent Datsun 240Z LS custom. This car was the product of a comprehensive restoration. Exterior modifications include a custom fiberglass hood, custom front bumper, rear bumper delete, rear spoiler, shaved front and rear turn signals, shaved door locks, shaved antenna mount and shaved fuel door. It was painted Voodoo Blue, which fits this car perfectly. The paint is show-quality. All of the trim pieces - such as the grille, front bumper, window trim, mirrors, door handles and Z emblems - were powder-coated black. It's equipped with black LED headlights as well. The car is wrapped with custom 17" BBS-style wheels with BFGoodrich G-Force tires. The beautiful black interior was fully restored. Some interior upgrades include Dynamat insulation, half roll cage, custom door sills, Auto Meter gauges, Momo competition steering wheel, Momo shift knob, Recaro-style racing seats, racing-style seatbelts and billet window cranks. The trunk area is home to the strut tower brace and Aeromotive 15-gallon aluminum fuel cell with baffles. The engine compartment was painted and looks great. It is home to the modified 5.7-liter LS 8-cylinder engine that has an estimated 400hp. The engine has 243 cylinder heads, Futral Motorsports F14 cam, COMP Cam valve springs, Aeromotive 340 stealth fuel pump, Russell steel braided lines with AN fittings, LS6 intake manifold, custom air intake with K&N filter. The ECU was tuned by Frost, and is powered by a new Optima battery. It's equipped with a custom fender strut tower brace. The engine is cooled by a Griffin aluminum radiator with electric fan. The engine breathes through JTR ceramic-coated short-tube headers and a custom 3" exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. This car sounds amazing. The engine is coupled to a T56 6-speed manual transmission. The power is transferred to the pavement through the R200 OBX limited-slip rear end with 3.70 gears. The undercarriage is nicely detailed. It's equipped with Wilwood 4-wheel power disc brakes with a 5-lug conversion. It's also equipped with all-new suspension, including Energy polyurethane bushings, Ground Control coilovers, Suspension Techniques front and rear sway bars. This G-machine is truly a one-of-a-kind build. It has been serviced and detailed, which is documented with an invoice that is included.
