Here is an absolutely amazing find! It is a beautiful 1965 Mercury Montclair Marauder 4dr HT in excellent condition inside and out. This is a mostly all original survivor with only 72K original miles. It has 90 percent original paint, all original interior and all original chrome all in amazing condition. This rare beauty recently came out of the estate of a huge car collector, which had over 200 classic cars. It has always been stored inside and is completely rust free. This is one of the only true 4dr muscle cars built in the 1960's with a #'s matching 390ci big block V8. It was ordered in very striking Carnival Red with a black interior and equipped with PS, PB and factory air conditioning. It is one of the nicest and most original '65 Marauders you are going to find. The car runs and drives like true low mileage car that has never been taken apart. It is one of only 16,977 ever built with only a small fraction of those still on the road. This car really needs nothing and is a truly affordable muscle car that is ready to cruise.

Exterior:
This Marauder shows beautifully finished in its original Carnival Red paint finish. It retains 90 percent of its original paint with only the hood and nose painted with an excellent match. The body is straight as an arrow with no dings or dents and only a couple minor chips touched up over the years. It has all original chrome and trim that is super bright and looks like new still. All the glass is very nice with the exception of a chip in the windshield and some very light scratches on the driver's side door glass. The fit and finish on the car is excellent and the body is completely rust free. It is sitting on its original wheels and hubcaps with newer white wall radial tires.
Interior:
The stunning all original black interior looks like new. It's all original right down to the original carpeting. The dash, gauge cluster and clear steering wheel all look mint. Everything works on the car from the A/C to the radio. The only thing that does not appear to work is the clock. Inside the trunk is very clean and original.
Mechanically:
The car runs and drives excellent. It has its original, #'s matching big block 390ci 2bbl V8 engine that runs like a top. It is backed by its original Merc-O-Matic automatic transmission. It also has ice cold factory air conditioning that works great. The suspension is very tight and the car stops on a dime. Under the hood is very clean, all stock and lightly detailed. It even has its original Mercury washer bottle. The under carriage is rust free, dry and clean with no under coating. This car is ready to drive and enjoy!
