Vehicle Description
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Rebuilt Chevy small block 400. Has 202 heads,
10:8.1 compression Edelbrock aluminum intake with an aluminum high
rise spacer. On top is a huge Quick Fuel Holley carburetor with
electric choke and an aluminum scoop air cleaner. Has HEI ignition
system and of course headers leading directly to the side pipes.
Some cosmetic enhancements include knife handle for the
transmission dipstick, firewall is polished stainless, tall
aluminum valve covers.
EXTERIOR: Fiberglass body painted royal blue. Has brass windshield
pillars with a wood windshield frame. In back it has LED tail
lights with chrome flame bezels. Up front it has Model grill shell
with original style Motometer ornament. Has vintage style slotted
mags, in back there's a new set of Hoosier street slicks.
UNDERSIDE: The front suspension is a chrome transverse leaf spring,
tubular drop axle, disc brakes and three point trailing arms. In
back it has a 1958 Corvette rear with 3.73 Auburn posi. Has gas
coil over shocks and 3 point trailing arms. The trans is a turbo
350 with 2,800 stall.
INTERIOR: The upholstery is new. Professionally done, black with
blue stitching. Rear deck upholstered to match. Has a wood Model T
steering wheel with brass spokes, wood dash with recent gauges. New
wiring. Has a Mustang floor shift.
Bottomline- these cars are exhilarating. The roar of the pipes,
open air feeling and way more power then there needs to be make for
an exciting ride. These are classic hot rods that have been popular
for decades. Inexpensive way to get involved in the old car hobby.
