Very rare Tempest Custom Convertible with the Sprint option that included 10.5 to 1 compression ratio, 4bbl carburetor, front torsion bar, heavy duty rear shocks, 4 on the floor with a Hurst shifter. Car was first prize in a California radio contest. It is all original. Engine was completely rebuilt, all numbers matchiing. Rebuild has 500 miles on it. There were less than 44 of this model built in 1967. AM/FM radio was added in the glove box to keep dash board looking original.
According to Pontiac production records, there were 263 of model 23567 built. Manual transmissions were 174. Automatic transmissions were 89. Of the 174 standard transmissions built, 23%, or 40, were 4 speed Hurst transmissions.
