Vehicle Description
This ground-up custom-built Ford F2 was recently completed,
featuring a 700hp supercharged Ford Racing crate engine and a
custom-built chassis. The truck is painted black with a copper
pearl. The entire chassis is powder-coated in Candy Copper, while
control arms, rear axle, brake lines and other underbody components
are powder-coated gloss black. The same Candy Copper and black
color theme is continued throughout the entire build. The custom
TCI Engineering chassis was built to handle the horsepower and
provide the best available steering and braking. The chassis
features a front ISF suspension built by TCI engineering with 2"
drop spindles, along with a power rack & pinion. The rear
suspension is a 3-link, torque-link with a Currie Racing sheet
metal rear housing and full-floating rear axle. The 13" Wilwood
drilled and slotted rotors have been paired with Wilwood 6-piston
calipers and for maximum stopping power. This truck is powered by a
brand-new 5.0-liter Ford Racing Aluminator crate engine with a VMP
Stage II supercharger kit, mated to a Performance Automatic 4R70W
4-speed automatic transmission. Keeping the power to the ground, is
a set of Pirelli tires mounted on a set of 20" Mobsteel steelie
wheels. The rear differential is a 3.50 Currie Racing 35-spline
TrueTrac. The exhaust is complete with a set of 40 series
Flowmaster mufflers featuring 3" black ceramic-coated pipes from
front to back coming together at a set of quad tips. The entire
interior has been coated by two layers of sound and heat proofing.
The upholstery features black seats with copper stitching and a
single-piece headliner. The heat and air conditioning controls are
custom-mounted into the dash. The Ididit tilt steering column and
the black leather wheel are color-matched to the rest of the truck.
The stereo is a factory-looking deck with USB input for MP3 or
phone connection, and there has been an auxiliary USB port added to
the dash. The stereo is powered by a 500-watt Rockford Fosgate
amplifier, that's running a set of four Infinity Reference
speakers. The bed of the truck features new oak boards with a dark
stain. The strips and fuel filler-cap have been powder-coated in
Candy Copper to match the truck accents. The headlights, blinkers
and brake lights have all been upgraded to LED.
