Very Clean 1929 Packard model 743 Limo. this car is in very good shape and was restored over 20 years ago but runs great and looks good. The owner has had this car in his collection for 30 plus years and has always kept it garage stored and well maintained. The straight 8 cylinder motor is a real jewel and runs very strong. The original gear driven generator is in place and does work but at one time the car was used in several weddings and to insure it would run the temporary fans and other equipment they added a alternator for the 6 volt system. It can be left there or easily removed and hooked back to the original generator. The interior is in great shape with all the original equipment from side window curtains, jump seats, original lighter and very beautiful wood work with wonderful inlays. There are no tears or damages to the fabric interior. The clock in the dash is complete but not running and the voltage gage still works. The car has all it's original keys including the spare tire padlock and key from the factory. it is missing one the mirror on the passenger side rear view we, have the base but some how have lost the round mirror part. The paint is in good shape but does have a few areas that need a little touch up and we have recently completed a tune up oil change and carburetor rebuild. We do not use the original fuel system but have added a electric fuel pump witch makes this car easier to start after sitting for some time, This car is a great looker and has been as I said in several well know wedding in the Florida area. The car was originally purchased in Pennsylvania and moved to the owners collection in Florida about 28 years ago. It has a key tag that is made of brass and is very old that say the" White House Moor Pool" although the owner has no current documentation to confirm this. He has said he believed he had something at one time but over the years has lost it and he is not sure the exact wording of that documentation but I feel it may be worth following up on.
