DODGE 1953 5-WINDOW 'B SERIES' 'PILOT HOUSE' 1/2 TON PICKUP. a very rare find as this is the last year production of this famous series pickup that is now presented in restored condition, split glass windshield, just beautiful updated Bright Red with wonderful luster, the original color being called from the factory as ‘Dodge Truck Red’, lots of documents in file of the construction, has a fully built so very smooth 6 cylinder flathead engine, proper Carter carb that is hard to find, the operating linkage finished at Fraser Dante, rated at 95 horsepower, the truck is just fully tuned with fresh ignition, really beautiful Americana design, this was initially done in Florida by a serious senior car guy who did as a family project with love in the build, great effort on his part to do this as the best he could with lots of photos, there is thusly a very large file of the full build by this personal collector, since he really got a bit older, the family sent this to Fraser Dante to do the final finish and be ready for Spring 2019 with the expertise of our shop, see the gorgeous and rare very expensive handmade cypress wood handmade bed, custom wood side bed rails, even items like the rare 16” Dodge wheels that took the gentleman over 4 years to source and find and then restore them, now presented in the body color with stainless trim rings and Dodge center caps, Firestone 6.50x16 wide whitewalls, there is an enormous file of his documented work, then after that effort on this a work of art, Fraser Dante has completed and doing the shift linkage, full checking of the brakes, road testing for this unique piece, this is all steel rare and investment find, the ‘eyes’ are great with some trophies as a Americana piece of history seldom found, see www.fraserdante.com for further information and full inventory
