EXTERIOR: The custom body work is very extensive. With quality
paint jobs now starting at $10,000, I could see paying a
professional shop $25,000 just to do the body and paint on this
car. The top has been chopped, rear window leaned forward, rain
gutters removed. All trim, emblems and handles were shaved and
filled. Seams filled smooth. Doors and trunk open with remote.
Custom stainless side molding was installed. Upfront the headlights
were frenched, hood corners rounded, completely custom grill and
opening. Hood is louvered. Has custom made split bumper. In back it
has continental kit, custom bumper and taillights. It is also
decorated with cruiser skirts, Lake pipes with triple tips, dummy
spot lights, Sombrero hubcaps and tinted glass. Rides on radial
wide whitewalls. Paint is a beautiful burgundy metallic paint
polished to a glass shine. Custom pinstriped and ghost flamed.
Jambs are glossy and pin striped.
INTERIOR: Custom throughout. The dash has a matched set of Stewart
Warner gauges, custom knobs and is pinstriped. There is a tilt
column with leather grip steering wheel. Custom made console
between the bucket seats. Custom pleated upholstery with black
piping. Has Lokar floor shifter, stereo system, power windows and
air ride controls.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is fully boxed and upholstered to match
interior. Has access to storage space. Bottom of trunk lid is
painted glossy and has upholstered inserts. Carpeted floor.
MOTOR COMPARTMENT: It has metal filler panels painted to match the
exterior. Big 50s Caddy air cleaner also painted to match exterior.
The 350 motor is decorated with some chrome.
UNDERSIDE: Solid metal. At one time the frame was painted and
pinstriped. Upfront looks rebuilt. Has sway bar, newer springs and
shocks. Has a rack & pinion steering. There is a cadium plated
power brake booster with discs in front. Emergency brake is hooked
up. It has a 700R-4 overdrive auto trans with external cooler. Has
air ride in back with onboard compressor and controls under the
dash. The dual exhaust has glass pack style mufflers. There are
even neon lights under the car.
