Centaur, factory built in 1981 on a brand new Pontiac Grand Prix
chassis with a 3.8 liter V^ engine with automatic transmission,
tilt column, cruise control, power brakes, steering windows and
locks, rumble seat with full leather interior. The car has 7
classic styles gauges, 2 piece windshield and 2 -piece front hood
with very thick suicide doors; four wire wheels, am/fm radio with
cassette. The car is 16 feet long with a 108 inch wheelbase at 3500
pounds. The car was one of 75
built in 1981 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin by American Classic
Automotive Corporation. The car was purchased in 2016 for $27,000
from The Charles Schmidt and Co. of St Louis, MO. The identical car
is just now being offered by the same company for $39,000.
