1999 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra
The SVT Cobra editions of the Mustang was built from 1993 through
2004 by Fords Special Vehicle Team. This high performance version
was a limited production series and was considered the top of the
line Mustang available being placed above the GTs and Mach 1s also
being made at the time. The Special Vehicle Team still produces
these types of vehicles today but are considered the Shelby
variants instead of the SVT Cobras. In 1999 the Mustang was
restyled and the Cobras featured a higher performance motor,
improved emissions, and an independent front suspension system that
was unique for the Cobras. Ford initially missed the mark on their
horsepower ratings and due to the outcry of customers all of the
cars were recalled and fitted with a new intake manifold, computer
component upgrades and a different exhaust system to satisfy their
initial advertising of 320 hp. This SVT Cobra is a nice running car
and there is no doubting that these things were built for
performance. In runs down the road extremely well and has plenty of
power. It is done in Black and is a convertible which fetched a
MSRP of $31,470 when new which is about $4K more than they were
getting for the coupes. The car has just under 59,000 miles and
needs nothing but a new driver!

The interior of the car is done in Black with dual bucket seats up
front. The upholstery looks good and there are no rips or tears.
Everything has been kept stock on the car and everything is
