Offered here is a very exciting find! A 1978 Dodge Tradesman
Trans-Van (with just 118k original miles), remaining in remarkable
original-factory condition. When was the last time you saw one of
these rigs cruising down the Highway?
History:
This very cute and rare Motor Home was built by Champion Home
Builders in Dryden Michigan using a Dodge Sportsman Chassis and
running gear. However, this was placed on a "dual rear wheel"
chassis. The selling dealer was Plaistow Trailer Sales in New
Hampshire. Original sales Brochure included as well as all manuals
for truck and accessories, A/C, Range, Heating, Refrigerator, Porta
Potie, Radio and Cruise Control.
(All of the original brochures and manuals are intact and will come
with this sale. Please see photo).
The original owner was Phyllis Bernard. Phyllis was a widower and
wanted to travel with her girlfriends. Phyllis and friends made
several trips over the 30+ years of her ownership. She was diligent
with maintenance and stored the Trans-Van in a heated garage. At
118,000 miles, that relates to just 2,950 miles annually.

The coach is currently on display at The Murphy Automobile Museum in the Vintage Camper and Trailer Exhibit located in Oxnard, California.
