The NSU motorcycle is a bike that comes from a company with a fantastic history. Holding many records including the first man to ever exceed 200 MPH on a motorcycle and having great innovative design features such as the pressed steel Offered here is an exceptional example of a 1954 NSU Max that has had only two owners from new and is in incredibly well preserved original condition. The previous owner owned this bike since the early 1960's. He purchased the bike in Germany while there serving in the U.S. army and brought it back with him to the United States. Since then the bike was ridden regularly in the summer time and garaged. Everything is original down to the seats, paint and even the leather saddle bags. Upon its arrival to our shop we completely serviced the 250cc overhead cam engine and it runs and drives extremely well. Its ready for a great motorcycle collection and to be ridden and enjoyed on the road.
