it's original owner's manuals and Protecto-plate and many local car
show first place trophies and recently purchased via it's original
owner's local Colorado dealership!Finished in it's original factory
'Tyrol Blue Metallic' (color code F) paint with original
'Parchment' (trim code 585) seats, and all original interior with
the large chrome dials and factory gauges set in a real walnut
inlay and with factory options including Strato bucket seats with a

trunk and all the typical rust-prone areas are completely solid and
rust-free and the car has no history of any accidents - obviously
an always garaged and cherished one owner car since new. The
original spare wheel with it's jack are in the trunk. The 400 V8
engine is extremely strong and powerful and this particular car
drives very well indeed. The car has power steering, power brakes,
dual exhausts, courtesy lamps, padded instrument panel amp; padded
assist bar, concealed headlights, concealed windshield wipers,
ventless door windows, deluxe wheel covers, additional acoustic
insulation, Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission and it's
original working 'Pontiac' radio amp; 8 track cassette. The
transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears, there are no
noticeable oil leaks and the temperature always remains cool! The
Pontiac Grand Prix was the top-of-the-line Pontiac luxury coupe and
the first in a long line of 'Posh' Pontiacs that continued to the
marques demise and the most powerful standard engine of any
Pontiac. Bucket seats were part of the standard package, as was a
tachometer (with manual transmission) and vacuum gauge (with
Hydra-Matic) and a center console also came as standard. The Grand
Prix was a luxurious and superbly styled car equally suited for the
open road as it was around town. By 1967 the full-size Pontiac's
were given a total redesign with a slightly bulkier appearance but
more curvaceous lines. The stacked dual headlamps had continued
until 1966 with the top lamp set into the leading edge of the front
fender and the lower lamp set into the new integral grille and
bumper design but he 1967 Grand Prix received styling cues that set
it apart from the regular Pontiac line. Up front the headlamps were
mounted side by side and hidden behind hide-away doors whilst the
parking lights hidden behind louvers in the leading edge of the
front fender. Also hidden were the windshield wipers and the
taillamps set into louvered slots in the tail panel. A convertible
was also new for 1967 and regrettably for such a beautiful car
lasted only the 1967 model year. Under the hood the 389 V8 was
replaced by a new 400 cu in (6.6 L) V8 with four-barrel carburetor,
dual exhausts and 350 hp. Also new this year was a dual
master-cylinder braking system and optional front disc brakes along
with Rally II wheels. ans new for 1967 was an energy-absorbing
collapsible steering column. Plus, Pontiac added an 8 track Stereo
tape player. This is a rare opportunity to own a great daily driving
and never abused example of a coveted original owner's rust free
1967 Pontiac Grand Prix 2 Door Hardtop in very fine and mostly
completely original condition throughout! Owned for over fifty
years by only very careful driving owner, this is a beautiful
example of one of the outstanding GM designs of the sixties, which
has high repute amongst enthusiasts and collectors for both it's
beautiful lines and smooth fast performance for a luxury coupe.
