For Sale at Auction: 1972 GMC 1 Ton Flatbed in Las Vegas, Nevada
This beautiful fully custom short-bed fleetside pickup truck was
subject to a recent ground-up restoration and customization. It has
less than 500 miles on the build, which was completed in October
2017. Powered by a modified Z06 Corvette LS1 engine mated to a
4L60E 4-speed automatic transmission, it has a Texas Speed
camshaft, MSD intake, transmission control, Atomic EFI system and
custom exhaust. It all sits on a custom Porterbuilt chassis that
lays frame when the AccuAir airbag system is activated.
Air-ride-controlled ride height and Wilwood brakes on all four
corners put stopping power to Pirelli P-Zero tires on
custom-finished U.S. Mags "Big Slot" wheels with Rally caps.
Finished in Porsche Arena Red Metallic over Perlmutt Weiss, this
truck has a rich, stunning appearance. The interior is beautifully
contrasted in varying shades of brown and tan, with materials
ranging from suede to leather. The floors are finished in Porsche
carpet, and the interior features Dakota Digital gauges, a Pioneer
sound system, air conditioning and an air horn. Additional custom
modifications include a shaved exterior, Kindig-it Design door
handles, new chrome throughout the interior and exterior, matching
large rear glass and single pane side windows, and custom metalwork
everywhere. The raised bed allows for a custom "bootlegger box"
hidden behind the tailgate, and a fully usable bed.
