Vehicle Description
1970 Dodge Dart, big block with an auto. with a 1972 400 engine and
727 trans out of a Charger. Engine installed using correct
Schumacher conversion engine mounts. Car runs great and drives
great as well. Manual 4 wheel disc brakes and manual steering. I
have completely rebuilt this car. Every mechanical system on the
car has been rebuilt and upgraded. Engine was rebuilt before I got
the car. It runs very good, has 40 psi of oil pressure when fully
warmed up. Engine is stock, right down to the point's distributor.
(I have electronic distributer, which goes with the car.) I
installed a new Edelbrock Performer 650 carb. Cooling system
flushed, new hoses, thermostat and radiator. High flow fan. Can sit
in traffic all day, never gets hot. Mechanical temp guage. Front
suspension- QA1 tubular upper and lower control arms. Large ball
joints. QA1 strut bars. Mopar Performance big block torsion bars.
Competition Engineering three way adjustable drag shocks. New inner
and outer tie rods and arms. Performance alignment by Fairfield
Dodge. The upper control arms put a few extra degrees of caster in,
they put a bit more and she tracks straight as an arrow. Rear
suspension - Mopar Performance 2800# super stock springs, new
factory shackles. Competition Engineering three way drag shocks.
Entire brake system is upgrade to manual four wheel disc brakes.
Every component is new: rotors, calipers, pads, front spindles, all
bearings, Rebuilt tranny, All new internals, torque converter with
stock stall and a Trans Go Stage II shift kit. TCI ratcheting
shifter. I removed the factory console, but still have it, goes
