This is a great example of a 1963 Series IIA Wagon, and a daily driver.
- Left Hand Drive
- Has the Safari roof and roof-rack.
- The Engine is an original Land rover engine but has had a Turner rebuild and is therefore able to run on standard unleaded fuel, and has a little more horse power.
- The transmission is the standard transmission for the vehicle and as such has no synchro between 1st and 2nd, the gear box does have the overdrive unit, both work well.
- The Frame and body work are in good condition as the Landy has been in Southern CA for the last 20 years, no issue with the outriggers.
- The brakes were done about 2,000 miles ago and are in good shape,
- The suspension is Parabolic suspension and has improved the ride of the vehicle,
- The tires have about 80% tread left on them.
- New Battery..... total unnecessary as the Landy can be crank started
I need to sell the Landy as I have moved houses and the vehicle will not fit in the Garage, so is living in a tent at a remote location and I am not driving it as much as I want to. It truly have regrets to offer the Landy but I do not wish it to be one of these vehicles that slowly starts to deteriorate
