Now for sale at Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is the 1966
Chevrolet C10. The '66 was the last of the first-generation
Chevrolet pickup. Most people see these as "good ol' farm trucks"
being they were strong, dependable and enjoyable to drive. This
particular '66 had undergone a recent restoration and is powered by
a fresh 350 CID V8 crate motor which is said to have less than
1,000 miles on it. The engine is paired to a Tremec 5-speed
transmission leading back to a rebuilt rear end featuring 3.73
gears. Going through the restoration this pickup received a new
intake manifold, drive shaft, new body bushings, front ball joints,
and tie rods. This truck is ready to hit the road and will
certainly turn some heads with the red paint job. The body on this
truck is nice and solid with new fenders, doors, and seals all
around. The interior has been nicely done to keep the truck looking
original. With a color matching leather bench seat, classic gauges
and AM radio this truck really puts you back in the 60's. This is
said to be a 4-owner truck and remains in great shape. For more
