You wont believe the faces on people when you let this AMC 401 engine go in this Pacer!! Its a thrill to drive! The short wheel base gives it good traction..but you can still light up the tires if you want!!! There was one company that converted these to 401 engines in the day for dealers. There were only a handful done. This one is done just like those. When you look at engine...its all AMC stock looking, until you hit the gas pedal!! Has a 2200 stall torque converter to help you with keeping it street or race ready.
For your consideration is a cute and quirky little 1978 AMC Pacer D/L. These cars caused quite a stir when they were unveiled in 1975, and soared in popularity again with the release of the hit cult-classic movie Wayne's World in 1992. But don't let this little yellow gem fool you; it packs plenty of punch with a 401 cubic inch V8, 3 speed auto trans and posi rear axle. This car looks good and sounds great! The interior is immaculate, all glass is in excellent condition, and the body is solid. The Pacer draws a crowd wherever it goes! If you want something different but still want something with some muscle, this is the car for you! Call Rob @859-287-9763 with questions. Thanks for looking!
