Vehicle Description
This custom Nomad is a ground-up restoration with a �60s hot rod
theme and all-new TIG-welded sheet metal. It's finished in Corvette
Atomic Orange paint with a louvered hood, tubbed rear wheel wells,
chrome-plated brass eyebrow trim, Smoothie front bumper and tinted
glass, and rides on custom 5-spoke wheels with Flame Cut tires.
It's powered by an Edelbrock limited dual 4-barrel 350ci V8
Performed Series crate engine that is equipped with a Hyperdrive
pulley system, polished aluminum radiator core support, and backed
by a modified 700R 6-speed automatic transmission with Lokar
shifter. This custom wagon is equipped with front fender wells
channeled for wiring, custom stainless steel covers, supports, skid
plate and gas tank, side pipe exhaust system, QA1 coilover front
suspension, Strange rear end, welded rear housing, 4:10 gears,
power rack & pinion steering and power front disc brakes. The
interior was done in classic �60s style with pleated bench seats,
but also features numerous upgrades including Classic Instruments
gauges, Ididit chrome tilt column, custom-wrapped 3-spoke steering
wheel, Vintage Air, cruise control, digital clock, Viper alarm
system, Kenwood FM/CD/MP3 with GPS and speedometer data, Rockford
Fosgate 4-channel amplifier and Punch speakers, and fiberglass
panels to support the two subwoofers. This Custom Nomad has won
multiple First Place Awards at Winter National events including
Best Engine and Best Paint, and has earned multiple Platinum
Certificates with scores of 997 and 999 out of a possible 1,000. It
was also featured as the center fold in Chevy Classics magazine.
