Vehicle Description
A 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible 60th Anniversary Edition
with 1,017 actual miles, Window Sticker, 1SC option and factory
trickle charger. This Vette features a carbon-fiber raised hood,
carbon-fiber Z06-style fenders and carbon-fiber floor panels. The
"CFZ" carbon-fiber front splitter and rocker panels are also
included with the 60th Anniversary package, which features a blue
top, Blue Diamond interior, ZR1-style rear spoiler, special badging
and gray-painted brake calipers. The 60th Anniversary graphics
package adds full-length racing stripes in Pearl Silver Blue, a
tonal stripe stitched into the convertible top, extending the
graphic theme over the roof and features 60th badges on the fasciae
and the waterfall panel, 60th logos on the instrument panel, gauge
cluster and sill plates, and 60th logo wheel center caps, steering
wheel and seat headrests. This one-year-only Corvette blends
elements of the Z06 and the ZR1, the fastest most-capable
convertible in Corvette's history. Its heart is the 427ci LS7
engine featuring lightweight titanium connecting rods and intake
valves, as well as high-flow cylinder heads and a dry-sump oiling
system. Assembled by hand at GM's Performance Build Center, the
engine is rated at 505hp and 470 ft/lbs of torque. The combination
of low mass and high output make the 427 convertible one of the
fastest convertibles, delivering estimated 0-60 performance of 3.8
seconds, quarter-mile performance of 11.8 seconds at 121.5mph,
lateral acceleration of 1.04 g and a top speed of more than 190
mph. With the most powerful, and only, factory 427 engine ever
installed in a production C4, C5, C6 or C7 Corvette convertible,
like the C6 Z06 and ZR1, the 427 convertible was only available
with a 6-speed manual transmission. Performance elements in the
Corvette 427 convertible also include the driveline and rear-axle
system from the Corvette Z06, a rear-mounted battery and standard
Magnetic Selective Ride Control. The standard 19" front and 20"
rear lightweight machine-face cup wheels include unique
gray-painted pockets and are wrapped in ZR1-style Michelin PS2
tires.
