1973 Jaguar XJ12 all original. I've owned this car for 24 years and had extensive mechanical repairs at around $15,000. I have records of all that has been done to her. Unfortunately the fan came loose and damaged the radiator so she needs a new fan and radiator to run again. This is a very clean rust free car perfect for someone who has the time energy and of course money to put her back on the road. As you can see in the pictures this is one of the most classic designs Jaguar made. I have varying reports as to how many XJ12s were made this year, but the biggest number I've read is 2500. I know this is a very rare car as they are very hard to find.
This car was an absolute pleasure to drive when it was running and the mechanical work that has been done on the front end and chassis allow it to glide down the highway at 140 mph effortlessly. The speed odometer goes to 160 but I felt 140 was fast enough. The engine runs very strong and clean and had no trouble passing emissions. Just imagine how good she looks going down the road.
It wouldn't take a lot to put this Jag in prestine condition for someone who appreciates classic cars.
