Vehicle Description
This classic custom 101 model, Y series, Oakland-built, 1955 GMC
stepside pickup is powered by a Chevrolet 383ci Stroker engine with
a Weiand manifold and 4-barrel Edelbrock carburetor. The radiator
is cooled by an electric fan and ignition is supported by Mallory
Promaster coil and Optima "A" battery system. A Munice M22 4-speed
manual transmission sits atop a Camaro subframe with stock
suspension. This custom pickup is also equipped with power steering
and power brakes. This interior features a banjo-style steering
wheel as well as Sport Comp tachometer and shift light that sit
below the dash. The sound system is a JVC CD KD-LX10 receiver,
complete with remote and powered by a Jensen 200-watt amplifier
that rocks through two 12" subwoofers that are under the seat. The
truck is painted in Spectre Blue paint that emits a metallic like
gloss finish that is offset by the sparkle of the chrome American
Racing wheels. This stunning truck sits atop Ohtsu tires and has a
custom oak wood bed.
