1957 Ford Fairlane 500 -- mechanically this car is in great
condition -- the 390 engine runs and starts perfect -- there are no
leaks coming from under this car anywhere -- the top-load 4 speed
is a great set-up and a pleasure to drive -- whoever installed this
engine and tranny did a professional job -- it seems to me that
when buying a 61 yr old car the mechanical and electrical would be
the most important items to look for -- this car is tops in both
departments -- headlights & tail lights incl both turn signals
front and rear work -- dash lights & dimmer work at night -- the
radio plays good -- the heater & hi-lo fan works -- the wipers work
-- the cigarette lighter works -- speedometer works -- gas gauge -
oil pressure - amps - all work -- the bucket seat slider adjusters
both driver & passenger work very easy -- tires are like new -- the
paint job is driver quality -- not perfect but very nice the horn
and the emergency brake do not work the windshield has wiper marks
( not bad ) the chrome and stainless is also driver quality (
please look at the pictures ) the interior is not original and is
in average condition ( please look at the pictures ) at sometime in
the past this car had some rust issues in the floor pans and were
repaired -- the underside of the car has been detailed as you will
see in the pictures -- have a clear title -- the mileage given is
