Golden Eagle Edition. The Golden Eagle was a low production special
package that was introduced in 1977 and continued until 1980. The
package included was the signature large Golden Eagle on the hood,
special fold spoke wheels, large tires, Golden Eagle Lettering,
Levi Soft top, Levi Interior d�cor....The Golden Eagle represented
the top of the line for the CJ 7 and the package added a healthy
$1248.00 dollars to the price in 1978.
The Jeep has been owned by its current owner for the last 22 years
and has recently had a nut and bolt restoration. This Jeep features
a fiberglass tub that is in excellent condition. The Jeep rides on
33x12.5 Mickey Thompson Baja radial tires mounted on 15 inch Mickey
Thompson performance wheels, dual exhaust with cutouts, soft top
and soft doors, SunPro oil psi and voltage meters, roll bar, Holley
4 barrel carburetor, Hedman Headers, Aluminum GM intake, power
brakes and power steering and more. The Jeep is powered by a 350 GM
crate engine. The T400 automatic transmission was also rebuilt.
Along with the sale of the Jeep comes a folder of receipts showing
the money spent on the engine and transmission and other smaller
service bills. The Jeep does have a salvage title, but has been
fully restored and ready for the next owner.
