transmission with over drive.
This car has been credited with saving Ford and ushering in a
modern streamlined car design. This model was made from 1949 – 1951
– many of the features true and unique for each year. Making
a stock and right car such as this very rare. Many of the
materials, parts, and fabrics and one year items and literally
impossible to find new old sock. The engine was moved forward
in this year to provide a large passenger area.
This is an incredible example of the new Crestliner “Sports Sedan”
– a 2 door sedan with 2 – tone paint.
This car has a deluxe radio, deluxe fresh air heater, factory turn
signals, factory back up lights, factory mirrors, original 3 rib
fender skirts, upgrades, Firestone white wall tires, new brakes,
new shocks, rebuilt front end, new clutch assembly, Fenton headers,
stainless exhaust system new correct heavy duty radiator, new water
pump, new hoses, new wire loom, new correct paint ( sportsman’s
green and black), LeBaron – Bonney Company interior (this
upholstery was used for one year and the replacement was the last
in stock remnants), topper vinyl was made for that car for one year
and it is unreplaceable – rare texture (original).
