This Candy Apple Red 1968 Ford Mustang coupe has recently undergone
a complete rotisserie restoration. This car was completely
disassembled, and using a dustless blaster, the body was brought to
bare metal. The body was sealed with epoxy primer and repainted
with three coats of factory-correct Candy Apple Red paint. The
289ci V8 engine and carburetor were rebuilt. The restoration
included a new starter, alternator, high-performance coil, and new
dual exhaust system. The dark red interior has been restored with
new seat covers, headliner, carpet, and dash pad matching the
original look. This restored coupe is equipped with an automatic
transmission, original air conditioning upgraded with a new
compressor, original radio with a new 4-speaker system, new tires,
shocks, and Ford Magnum 500-style 15" alloy wheels.
