Vehicle Description
The great thing about a vintage truck is that it has all the right
features for both flash and substance. This 1956 Ford F-100 is a
great example with fresh electric blue paint, a strong-running
351ci V8, and one of the tidiest total packages around.
This truck's days of punching the time clock are well behind it,
and you know that the moment it comes into view. The Lightning Blue
is actually borrowed from a more modern Mopar color palette. So it
makes this one a distinct standout. In fact, they took their time
making sure the panels were straight and the trim was expertly
deleted. That way there is nothing to keep you from enjoying how
this deep clearcoat shine rolls evenly across the classic
sheetmetal. And while the custom appearance has a modern appeal,
they also didn't forget this is a vintage machine. It has great
classic details like glossy real wood truck bed and the blue dot
taillights in the shape of the Ford family crest. And the wheels
were even borrowed from a later-model Bullitt Mustang for a great
way to add a performance appearance while still mindful about the
Ford lineage.
Inside, the black vinyl bench seat is a nice update from the '50s
to give you added comfort. It matches with carpeting, and the
exterior blue return dash and doors for a tasteful total
appearance. You'll slip behind a classic wood and chrome steering
wheel mounted on a chrome tilt column. Your seating position is
commanding, and everything from the tall gearshift to the AM/FM/CD
stereo is within easy reach. It also gives you a full view of the
factory speedometer, auxiliary gauge package, and large Sun Super
Tach. This is all a nice indication that you'll like what's under
the hood.
The engine bay was built to be a terrific showcase. The smooth
fender walls and firewall funnel your attention to all the polish
on the V8. The 351 cubic-inch Windsor motor is already known to be
a great powerhouse. And this one adds terrific upgrades, like the
Quick Fuel four-barrel carburetor, Weiand intake, and a set of
headers that feed the rumbling dual exhaust. More than just power,
this has also been given the right supporting components, like the
upgraded pulleys, newer wiring, and an aluminum radiator. And
that's exactly how you should view this whole pickup: upgraded with
the driver in mind. After all, the painted undercarriage reveals a
truck that you can put a mirror under at car shows. But features
like the three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and
front disc brakes means it's easier to get to those shows, too.
Complete with build receipts and restoration photos, this is the
Ford with the right look and the upgrades you want. There's only
one of these up for grabs, so hurry up and call today!!!
