Vehicle Description
This is one slick looking hot rod. Classic 34 chopped coupe with
suicide doors and surprise, it has a rumble seat. Only 6,300 miles
since built using all new parts.
EXTERIOR: It certainly has a wow factor. The body and paint are
slick as teflon. It's a really bright red, no goofy graphics or
stripes. Just all bright red and boy is it shiny. Up front it has
the original style big Ford stainless headlights. Turn signals are
neatly installed under the fenders. The side louvers on the hood
are custom Billet. Has original style door handles. In back it has
LED tail lights with flamed chrome bezels and a recessed license
plate. Has Torque Thrust polished wheels, bigger and fatter in back
for that hot rod stance.
INTERIOR: Very comfortable bench seat with reclining split back.
I'm 6ft tall and fit very comfortably. The pedals are positioned
nice. Matching tweed upholstery on sets, door panels and headliner.
Wood grain dash with a matched set of Stewart Warner gauges and
tachometer. Vintage heat and air controls and vents are neatly
installed. I love the steering wheel- thick cushion wrapped in
glove soft leather and aluminum spokes on a tilt column. Stereo is
overhead, power window switches are on the armrests. The suicide
doors have safety locks. Has Haywire electrical system- wiring and
fuseblock. Wireless door jambs, it uses contacts for the power
windows. Rumble seat is upholstered to match interior. It is a
nostalgic feature that still offers some storage too.
MOTOR COMPARTMENT: It is dressed to the nines with polished
aluminum. Looking in all you see is a gloss red compartment and
aluminum. It runs a 350 Chevy motor. The Edelbrock intake is
polished smooth, has chrome plated big Holley carb, finned aluminum
valve covers, flamed air cleaner, A/C compressor, polished aluminum
radiator and various other pieces of polished bits and pieces. Even
the radiator hose is polished stainless.
UNDERSIDE: Painted and detailed. Has Pete & Jake chassis painted
silver. Boxed frame with tubular supports. Upfront it has rack &
pinion steering, independent suspension with tubular control arms,
adjustable coil over shocks and disc brakes. In back it has
adjustable coil over shocks, tubular control arms and sway bar.
Bottom of the motor is clean, has chrome oil pan. Has a turbo 350
automatic. Very nicely bent exhaust with Thrush mufflers. Power
brake booster and battery is mounted under the car. Everything
looks new- lines, fuel pump, starter, steering linkage etc.
This car has had the same owner for the last 15 years, he was
choked up letting this car go. To say it was,well cared for is an
understatement!
